Jebel Jais, located in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, is one of the most famous mountainous areas that enjoys unparalleled demand from visitors and tourists throughout the year, especially during the winter, as its peak is dressed in white due to the accumulation of snow on it in a charming view.

The height of the mountain is about 1,934 metres, and it is a destination for hiking and camping enthusiasts. It also includes a viewing platform that provides an ideal view of the most beautiful natural scenery in Ras Al Khaimah, as its high location allows visitors the opportunity to view the scenic valleys.

Mount Jais attracts visitors and tourists to enjoy a comprehensive package of activities and adventures, including the Jais Flight Adventure, the longest zipline in the world, which was officially approved by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2018 with a track length of 2,832.88 meters at an altitude of 1,680 meters above sea level.

  1. Mount Al-Mabrah

Also in Ras Al Khaimah, there is Mount Al-Mabrah, which forms a pass at an altitude of 1,527 meters above sea level.

It is characterized by a lower temperature at the top, about 15 degrees Celsius than that in the plains, where visitors can breathe fresh air and enjoy the wonderful panoramic views.

In Abu Dhabi, Jebel Hafeet is the highest point in the emirate, reaching a height of 1,240 metres, and the road extends over it for a distance of 11.7 km.

It is distinguished by its paths and roads paved with an attractive geometric shape in terms of street space, infrastructure, water drainage, lighting, and smooth flow for safe driving up to the top.

It is home to Jebel Hafeet Desert Park, which is one of the first sites included in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) list of World Heritage Sites in the UAE.

The mountain contains the Hafeet Mountain burial area, which dates back approximately 5 thousand years, and was built using stones in the shape of beehives.

The mountains of the city of Hatta in the Emirate of Dubai are among the most famous parts of the Hajar mountain range in the UAE.

They are of special beauty, as they include breathtaking natural treasures and towering peaks, the highest of which is the peak of Mount Umm Al Nusour, at an altitude of 1,300 metres.

  1. Khor Fakkan Mountains

The Khor Fakkan Mountains in the Emirate of Sharjah host the Cloud Rest House, which is located at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level. The rest house was built in a circular shape with a number of internal and external balconies that feature wonderful views of the scenery and ensure that visitors get a 360-degree panoramic view of the entire city of Khor Fakkan.

The rest house, which was built on an area of ​​10,250 square meters, includes a children’s play area with an area of ​​541 square metres. The area surrounding the rest house was decorated with green spaces, where 8,700 trees were planted to add an aesthetic and healthy character to the area, in addition to providing 89 parking spaces.
