New research by travel and tourism company Stasher reveals its picks for the best and worst tourist destinations that it advises travelers to travel to or avoid this year.
This study was conducted by the company on up to 99 tourist destinations around the world, and used traveler ratings available on the Google Tourist Destinations Ratings website.
In this research, Stasher also used a set of factors on the basis of which it determined its evaluation of these destinations, to ultimately classify them among the best or worst this year. Among these factors were the number of airports close to these tourist destinations and whether visitors travel long distances from the airport to reach there.
Also factors such as the safety rate of tourists in the vicinity of these destinations, and the popularity of these destinations on popular electronic social media applications such as TikTok.
In its evaluation, Stasher also monitored its choices for the worst tourist destinations that it advises tourists to avoid this year, because they received the lowest evaluation scores according to the research it conducted, and they included the following:
At the top of the ranking among the worst was the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
in second place was the Grand Bazaar area in Turkey.
In third place was the Taj Mahal in India.
then in fourth place was Busch Gardens in the United States.
In fifth place on the list is the Lotte World Hotel in South Korea.
In sixth place is Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong.
Also from Hong Kong, Ocean Park was chosen among the worst options for tourism in seventh place.
Then in eighth place came the Fushimi Inari area, which is an area affiliated with a sect of one of the religious sects in Japan.
In ninth place came the Great Wall of China.
Then at the end of the list in tenth place was Everland Amusement Park in Pyongin, South Korea.
